Join in organisational activities and peer groups

The Finnish Movement Disorders Association works for the benefit of people with movement disorders and their loved ones on a national level. The Association has member associations and clubs all over Finland, welcoming people to join. When you join a regional association, you can also sign up for club activities (which is naturally completely voluntary). You can call and e-mail the association offices, subscribe to their bulletins, or have discussions with fellow patients or loved ones.

The Finnish Movement Disorders Association has experts by experience tasked with increasing awareness and understanding of living with movement disorders from the perspective of those afflicted or their loved ones. These trained experts attain all their knowledge by experience, either by living with Parkinson’s disease, dystonia or another movement disorder, or by having a loved one with a movement disorder.
