Board of Trustees

According to the Foundation’s rules, the members of its Board of Trustees have scientific and financial expertise. Its decision-making is guided by expertise, confidentiality, objectivity and ethics. The funds bequeathed and donated to the Foundation are managed systematically and carefully while avoiding risks. The funds are well diversified into different asset classes. The Foundation’s annual reports are available on its website, providing open access to its operations and use of funds.

As a member of the Association of Finnish Foundations, the Foundation is committed to good governance. The Foundation’s auditor for the 2022–2023 period is the auditing firm Oy Soinio & Co.

Board of Trustees

Members of the Finnish Parkinson Foundation’s Board of Trustees are selected for a term of four calendar years. Below is a list of current board members. The Board is composed of neurology and finance experts and people living with movement disorders. The Parkinson Foundation’s Board manages the Foundation’s affairs, represents it, and exerts its decision-making powers.
